Find in this ring sites related to all aspects of radio astronomy, including but not limited to sites of value to amateur radio astronomers, and home- and school- based radio observatories, solar flare detection, Jupiter noise storm monitoring, meteor detection by radio, and much more.  Pictured:  a radio image (by the Very Large Array, or VLA) of Messier 87 (M87), a giant elliptical galaxy in the Virgo Cluster, and an image of its center section by a Very Long Baseline Array (VLBA) consisting of antennae in Finland, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden and the United States. The jet of particles might be powered by a black hole in the center of the galaxy.

   Live Radio Meteor Activity
Live radio meteor activty via spectrogram display. Based in Macclesfield UK.

   Tennessee SkyNet
We are amateur astronomers interest in both optical and radio astronomy observations. Follow our progress as we explore the universe with our many projects.

   UK AMATEUR RADIO ASTRONOMY NETWORK
UKARANet is a website, not a club or organisation. It is dedicated to amateur radio astronomy in the UK. Many sites detail the activities of individuals or groups - there are few clues to assist UK residents to find information, items or suppliers easily accessible to them. There are only a few sites with "how to" information.

   JovianContact.com
Jovian Contact is an automatic Decametric Amateur Radio Telescope operating at 20MHz. The telescope is designed to stream live data over the internet to users. No Specialist software is required to lock onto the Datastream. The Telescope automatically sends dataframe textfiles to your email address. All you need to view and manipulate the data is a simple spreadsheet application. A limited number of Beta Testers are required. If you would like to receive Telescope Data when the Unit is Operational please let me know your email address.

   408 MHz Survey
Amateur project in southern England utilising a 10 metre dish and Dicke Radiometer to conduct a survey of the sky at 408 MHz.

   Starlight Cascade Observatory
Lots of interest in different aspects of astronomy. Solar, Radio, Planetary,Lunar and other interests at Starlight Cascade Observatory as well.

   LoBERT Observatory
My attempt at Radio Astronomy using TVRO equipment.

   Neill's Antennas and Microwaves site
A source of useful technical information relating to antenna and microwave design. Including designs specific to 1420 MHz Hydrogen Line reception.

   SID-GRB@home
How to build an simple VLF radio receiver to detect Sudden Ionospheric Disturbances (SID) caused by x-rays from solar flares or Gamma Ray Bursts (GRB).
